a) Car Commuting Calculator

Commuting Car Emission Calculator

For this you will need the following information;

  • Unit of Distance Travelled : You have the choice between the two major units of travel; kilometers or miles.

  • Size of Car : This is where you can give an estimation on how large your car is to factor it into the emission calculation

  • Distance Travelled : You can determine the actual distance driven by looking at the vehicle you are recording, or by reverse engineering a fuel invoice.

  • Holidays : The number of holidays that occurred changes depending on your geological demographic, and can alter the results of the calculation. You can record your company's average number of holidays allotted to your employees.

  • Employees Travelling : Determine the number of employees that were travelling during the time you are recording. Every employee accounts for separate vehicles.

  • Time frame : Select the timeframe you want to calculate your emissions for.

Now coordinate which office it is representative of and provide a title, and if necessary you can produce a description for the activity to include further detail.

b) Motorbike Commuting Calculator

For this you will need the following information;

  • Unit of Distance Travelled : You have the choice between the two major units of travel; kilometers or miles.

  • Distance Travelled : Determine the amount of miles that was commuted to work for the allotted time that it is being recorded.

  • Size of Motorbike : Estimate the size of your bike and its engine to properly calibrate the calculator

  • Holidays : The number of holidays that occurred changes depending on your geological demographic, and can alter the results of the calculation. You can record your company's average number of holidays allotted to your employees.

  • Employees Travelling : Determine the number of employees that were travelling during the time you are recording. Every employee accounts for separate vehicles.

  • Time frame : Select the timeframe you want to calculate your emissions for.

c) Public Transport Calculator

Public Transport Emission Calculator

For this you will need the following information;

  • Unit of Distance Travelled : You have the choice between the two major units of travel; kilometers or miles.

  • Distance Travelled : Determine the amount of miles that was commuted to work for the allotted time that it is being recorded.

  • Form of Public Transportation : Determine from which three forms best fits your employee's commute to work. You can choose from either Rail, Bus, or Taxi in the 'Transport Type' drop down.

      * **Note**: Each option has different variants that you much choose from. 
    
  • Holidays : The number of holidays that occurred changes depending on your geological demographic, and can alter the results of the calculation. You can record your company's average number of holidays allotted to your employees.

  • Employees Travelling : Determine the number of employees that were travelling during the time you are recording. Every employee accounts for separate vehicles.
