Refrigerants Emissions
Uploading Refrigerants
Refrigerant emissions fall under Scope 1 and are reported through the Real Estate section of the platform. These typically result from the use or leakage of cooling gases (like HFCs) from HVAC systems. Follow the steps below to add refrigerant-related emissions accurately:
Navigate to the Real Estate Emission
From the left-hand navigation panel, select Real Estate. Then click the green “Add Record” button in the upper right corner.

In the “Add Record” form:
Set the Type to Refrigerants.
The Scope field will auto-fill to Scope 1.
Select the Time Frame (e.g., Year) and the relevant year (e.g., 2025) and an office location.
Use the Built-In Estimator (Optional). If you don’t know the CO₂ value, click the Calculate it for me checkbox. A modal will appear where you can:
Coolant: Search and select your refrigerant type from the dropdown (e.g., R410A, HFC-134a, Carbon dioxide, etc.).
KG: Enter the quantity (in kilograms) of refrigerant used or leaked.
Time Frame: Confirm the selected period and year.
Then click Calculate. The system will auto-generate the appropriate CO₂e value based on emission factors.

Fill in Supporting Details (Optional)
Assign the record to an Office and set percentage allocation.
Add a Title (e.g., “R410A x 50kg – Main HQ”).
Attach supporting documents (e.g., service reports).
Include a Description or explain your formula in the Calculation Description field.
Add the Record to complete.
